what's right and wrong in Business?

what is business ethics? Before understanding business ethics, we should familiarize ourselves with the word "Ethics". Ethics is the study of morality. Morality in return is the set of standards through which we decide what is right or wrong. Morality could be considered objective/absolute like all societies do agree that murder is wrong, or it could be subjective/relative like in the case of taboos that vary among the societies. Business ethics hence is the study that relates ethical manners to business so that a firm/company can achieve its objective. Business ethics has become more crucial for multinational firms as they must identify and respond to different moral standards observed in their countries. Many moral philosophies have been presented by philosophers to determine the standards through which we decide wrong and right, the most famous arguably is utilitarianism.it is worth mentioning that all...

How AI is changing the way we study; A BBA student's insight

AI

Its official,  Ai is everywhere whether its in content creation, art generation and even education. Ai has made things easier for students but at the same time has made it frustrating for instructors because now students just use Ai to do their tasks. First we used to use the internet to do research by opening a dozen tabs and taking notes but now its just a prompt away. ChatGPT is such a blessing for students because now we don't have to go through hours of arduous research and stress induced procrastination.

We do not realize this but Ai is a double edged sword because sooner or later it will be threatening a lot of jobs and occupations, lets face it formal education and degrees are hacked with this cheat code of ChatGPT. It passed an MBA exam, a Law exam and even a medical exam so when Ai can ace these exams what to talk about programs like BBA and CS which aren't that much difficult as compared to the ones mentioned prior. If we talk about careers like software development and related tech careers then its not much of a damage but still it has replaced a lot of tasks that were delegated to humans.

Let me walk you through how I study with Chat GPT, lets say I have an economics exam and there are certain topics along with graphs which aren't that easy to grasp, so i will ask ChatGPT to explain it to me in simple terms so I understand and by simple I mean like explaining to a naïve person the principles of economics and the curves in the graphs. So I will understand the basics from ChatGPT as well as the numerical concepts of the topic and then will go about practicing the questions.

As time is moving forward these educational institutions must understand that all that mattered in formal education wasn't all in the books, what will matter is what skills people have taken with themselves home because writing reports are just one prompt away so therefore they must take a look into a developing a new curriculum which isn't based on just cramming and memorizing slides. Countries whose education systems focus more upon tech based education are the ones leading the world, the CEO of Google Sundar Pichai is Indian, Satya Nadella the CEO of  Microsoft is Indian. The point is where is our education system going? It definitely isn't making thought leaders and tech giants.

As a student of business studies, I am a believer in things done and not said by that I mean that one cannot simply get into business by formal education and the traditional ways, we have to use all what we have and what we're given. Now we have to use Ai to our advantage in business and the education that's all left.  Now we understand that being educated isn't just completing reports and getting grades, being educated means you've learned to think better and can adapt to new situations.

A Great Physicist Albert Einstein once said

“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”
